Two Durham Students Injured After Rock Thrown At Bus

DURHAM, N.C. — Two Southern High School students are recovering Thursday after someone threw a rock through the window of the school bus they were riding in.

The incident happened around 7:15 a.m. at East Main Street and Hyde Park Avenue in Durham.

The students were treated on the scene and at the school's wellness center. Officials say the students' injuries are not considered serious.

The other students who were on the bus were put on another bus and taken to school.

Police do not know who threw the rock.
