Glenwood Residents Take On Speeders

Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — Action will not be speedy enough for several Raleigh residents hoping the City Council will get drivers to slow down.

Some people living on Glenwood Avenue say drivers are going too fast in the 35-miles-an-hour zone. They have put up "Are You Speeding?" signs to get the drivers' attention.

Tuesday night, the council decided to refer the issue to a traffic calming committee for further examination.
