DURHAM, N.C. — A Durham high school student has died following a wreck Monday evening.

Police said Kayla Radack, 16, crossed the center line on Rose of Sharon Road near Marywood Drive, hitting another car head-on just before 6 p.m.

The Riverside High School student was taken to Duke Medical Center, where she died Tuesday morning.

Beth Blevins Foster, the driver in the other car, is listed in serious condition.

A third vehicle was damaged when it went off the road to avoid colliding with Radack's car.
