Authorities Find Vehicle Involved In Durham Hit-And-Run

Posted Updated

DURHAM, N.C. — Authorities have a new lead in the search for a hit-and-run driver who injured a pedestrian.

On Tuesday, a Durham County sheriff's deputy found the car they believe was used in the hit-and-run in a parking lot at Duke Manor Apartments in Durham. Authorities are not saying if they know who was driving the vehicle.

Caitlin Donnelly was injured when the car struck her on South LaSalle Street early Saturday morning. Investigators said the car's headlights were not on.

Donnelly is listed in critical condition at the hospital with severe head injuries.
