Two Publishing Solutions Companies Merge

and Publishing Smarter, two firms that focus on publishing consulting, training and other solutions, have merged.

Bright Path is based in RTP. Publishing Smarter is based in Toronto, Canada.

Both companies, which are privately held, focus on technology, manufacturing, retail, defense, aerospace, financial and pharmaceutical clients.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The combined company will operate under the name Bright Path.

Services include XML authoring and software-specific training. The company has personnel who specialize in Microsoft Word, Adobe FrameMaker, Arbortext, and XMetaL training and support.

Bright Path clients include Adobe Systems, Cisco, EMC, FedEx and the U.S. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command.
