RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police are investigating an overnight shooting that occurred outside a New Bern Avenue motel.
One person was injured, investigators said, apparently from a gunshot wound to the head. He was taken to WakeMed, but the extent of his injuries were not immediately clear.
At about midnight, investigators said, someone fired multiple shots outside the Super 8 hotel.
Police, however, have not yet said how the shooting happened or who was involved.
