RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police have tracked down a rape suspect more than a dozen years after the alleged attack took place.
The Raleigh Fugitive Task Force arrested 43-year-old Danny Chavis in Virginia, where investigators said he was living under an alias.
Chavis is charged with rape, armed robbery, kidnapping and a first-degree sex offense for an incident that happened on Jan. 4, 1994, said authorities.
