Judge Dismisses Troubled Venue's Bid To Retain Nightclub License

Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — A local entertainment venue has lost its latest round to keep its doors open as a club.

Raleigh leaders tried to shut down the Supper Clubb after several cases of illegal activity in and around the business. Last week, owners lost an appeal before the City Council to win back its amplified entertainment permit.

On Friday, a Wake County judge dismissed the club's case. It can now only operate as a restaurant.
