CARY, N.C. — Cary police have arrested a Raleigh man accused of showing naked pictures of himself.

John Lowell Briscoe, 37, of Ashton Hall Lane, is charged with three counts of preparation of obscene photographs, slides and motion pictures and one count of indecent exposure. Each count could carry up to 60 days in jail if Briscoe is convicted.

Briscoe allegedly showed the pictures to three unsuspecting victims and exposed himself to another victim at a swimming pool shortly before his arrest on Wednesday, Cary police said.

The alleged incidents with the photos occurred in the afternoon hours of July 13 and July 25. Investigators said an incident occurred on West Boundary Street, another at the Food Lion on Northeast Maynard Road and one on North Harrison Avenue.

On the day of his arrest, he exposed himself to a person at the swimming pool at Hyde Park Apartments in Cary.

Briscoe was released Wednesday night from the Wake County Public Safety Center on a $10,000 bond.
