Triangle Tomorrow Names Developer Roger Perry As New Chair

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. — Roger Perry, president of development firm East-West Partners, is the new chairman of the board of directors for Triangle Tomorrow.

Perry was recently elected to a two-year term to lead the program, which is focused on quality of life issues. Triangle Tomorrow is part of the Research Triangle Regional Partnership.

Smedes York, president and chief executive officer of York Properties, will serve as vice chair.

Robert Greczyn, president and CEO of Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina, who is the incoming chairman of the regional partnership, will become an ex officio board member when he assumes the chairmanship.

Dick Daugherty, a retired executive from IBM, will serve another year on the board. New board members include Harvey Schmitt, president of the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce, Michael Lemanski, president of Greenfire Development; and Jesse White, director of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's Office of Economic and Business Development.

also has launched a new website and plans to launch an electronic newsletter in August.
