HILLSBOROUGH, N.C. — Authorities said two men died in a bike-related accident near Hillsborough.
Investigators say 22-year-old Shantez Bowman and 21-year-old Christopher Kirkland were riding off-road dirt bikes Tuesday night when they hit each other head-on.
Authorities said the impact threw both men off the bikes.
According to authorities, neither man was wearing a helmet, and the bikes did not have headlights.
