DURHAM, N.C. — A 12-year-old was hospitalized after a hit-and-run accident in Durham early Saturday morning.
Authorities said that a vehicle hit the child at the corner of Dover Ridge Road and Asheville Road near
Guess Road
at about 9 a.m.
According to police, the child was taken to an area hospital with multiple injuries. There was no immediate word on his condition.
Authorities said that no suspects have been taken into custody.
