Raleigh To Debate New Water Users, Mall Parking Deck Financing

Developer John Kane wants Raleigh and Wake County to issue $75 million in bonds for a parking deck to support his North Hills expansion.

Zebulon and Wendell are ready to merge with Raleigh's water system, and four other towns already joined with Raleigh's system.

Long-term, customers in smaller towns will see a decrease in rates, but some council members think Raleigh is spreading itself too thin.
