Relief In Sight For Motorists On Six Forks Road

Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — Motorists can expect a rough ride on parts of Six Forks Road in Raleigh for two more weeks.

On May 31, crews removed the top layer of pavement from the beltline to just south of Millbrook Road.

The bumpy ride was supposed to be paved over two weeks later, but it has been almost a month.

The delay was caused by crews working on other projects, rain and contractor conflicts.
