Arby's Worker Recovering After Drive-Through Shooting

DURHAM, N.C. — A fast-food employee shot late Monday night while working at a drive-through window is recovering as Durham police continue their search for suspects.

Police were called to the Arby's restaurant at

2107 N. Roxboro St.

, about 10:45 p.m. Monday.

Investigators said the assailants ordered a drink, then pulled around to the drive-through window and shot the employee. The motive, they said, was believed to be robbery.

Police think three men were involved in the shooting and that they were traveling in a black vehicle, but they do not have a good description.

The victim, who is expected to recover, said he did not know the shooter.
