The wins Saturday brought the nine players a total of $180,000 in prizes. Three of those winners chose to Power Play and received four times the amount of their winnings. Instant scratch-off ticket players brought the total top tier prizes won this past week to $272,554.

Three people matched four white balls and the Powerball for $10,000, but since they had chosen to Power Play, their winnings were multiplied by four. Their tickets ended up being worth $40,000.

Jarmikca Jackson of Durham also cashed in his ticket worth $40,000 Monday. He purchased his ticket at a Family Fare on Chapel Hill Boulevard in Durham. Jackson plans to buy a new truck.
