Removal of 1-800 bumper sticker Stopping for lunch in a state-owned vehicle when not on travel status Stopping at the bank while not on travel status Dropping children off at school or a spouse at work since you have to drive past work/school Going sightseeing and visiting relatives while on travel status Not paying parking tickets (NC Admistrative Code [NCAC 0404]) Speeding and reckless driving in a state vehicle [NCAC 0405] Buying gasoline for another vehicle without authorization from Motor Fleet Management [NCAC 0104] Having repairs made to vehicle without authorization from Motor Fleet Management Having too many car washes during a month or having car washes that exceed the allowable amount (two per month [MFM Regulations])North Carolina General Statute 14-247 states: "It shall be unlawful for any officers, agent or employees of the State of North Carolina, or any county of any institution or agency of the State, to use for any private purpose whatsoever any motor vehicle of any type or description whatsoever belonging to the state, or any county or to any institution or agency of the State."
