Suspects In Armed Robbery Lead Wilson Police On High-Speed Chase

Posted Updated

WILSON, N.C. — Three suspects in an armed robbery in Wilson, who led police on a high-speed chase Saturday, were all in custody Sunday morning.

According to police, they started pursuing three hispanics around 5:40 p.m. Saturday.

The three suspects were apprehended at different times, according to Captain Farmer of the Wilson Police Department. Two were arrested Saturday night and were being held in Wilson County Jail on Sunday morning; the third was caught at approximately 9:30 a.m. Sunday.

The suspect caught Sunday morning reportedly was suffering from hypothermia, perhaps as a result of hiding out on Saturday's cold night. He was taken to Wilson Memorial Hospital for treatment.

The three suspects have been charged with two armed robberies, but more charges could come.
