RALEIGH, N.C. — Investigators believe alcohol played a part in a deadly wreck involving two motorcycles on I-540.

One died in the wreck. The other man, Roy Cartwright, has been charged with DWI.

The crash happened near the Leesville Road Exit early Saturday. Police said the cyclists each tried to pass a car and crashed into each other.
