Wake County Inmate May Have Died From Aneurysm

Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — Doctors believe they know what killed a Wake County inmate over the weekend.

Preliminary tests show Timothy Perry, 36, may have had a brain aneurysm.

Saturday night, jailers gave Perry medication when he complained he had a headache. Perry was rushed to the hospital Sunday after he had a seizure.

Family members said Perry had no history of medical problems.

He was in the Wake County jail for failing to pay child support.
