Durham Police Investigate Sexual Assault

DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police are investigating a sexual assault that happened late Monday in the 1100 block of Jacob Street.

The victim was walking on Jacob Street around 10:30 p.m. when two men came up behind her and dragged her behind an abandoned house, where they sexually assaulted her, police said. They said one man was armed with a silver knife.

One man is described as black, 5 feet, 8 inches tall and 200 pounds. He had short braided hair and was wearing a dark shirt and blue pants.

The second man is described as black, 6 feet tall and 200 pounds. He had short braided hair and was wearing a dark shirt and black pants.
