Police Investigate String Of North Raleigh Robberies

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police are investigating a string of robberies that took place Saturday night.

Police said just before 11 p.m. Saturday, a broke into a woman's apartment at Creedmoor and Millbrook roads. Police said the man kidnapped the woman at gunpoint and forced her to withdraw money from an ATM.

Police said the woman suffered minor cuts and bruises.

Two other robberies also happened in north Raleigh -- one at an adult video store off Glenwood Avenue. A cash register was stolen from a Chinese restaurant on Six Forks Road.

Right now, police do not know whether the crimes are connected.
