LILLINGTON, N.C. — Some residents in Harnett County say they are scared of their next-door neighbors.
Kennis Creek homeowners say they have been targets of crime and they blame people living at Longview Mobile Home Park.
According to Longview owner Avery Moore, his tenants are getting a bad rap.
"I honestly don't believe it's the people coming from over here," said Moore.
But the Sheriff's Department reportedly has increased patrols in the neighborhood and may enforce a nuisance order against the mobile home park.
The Harnett County Sheriff's Department says they have responded to more than 200 calls in the mobile home park in the past seven years.
