One-Stop Voting For September Primary Election Begins

One-stop voting locations open across the state Thursday and will include weekend hours through Sept. 7.

The votes will not be tallied until after the polls close on primary Election Day.

One-stop voting has become quite popular throughout the state.

"Many voters feel it's to their advantage to vote at the one-stop site, because they can choose the day and the time that they go to vote rather than fit it into their schedule on Election Day," said Johnnie McLain of the state Board of Elections.
