DUNN, N.C. — Police in Dunn say someone is targeting the homes of elderly men and women.
Police say a burglar has hit seven homes since mid-July. The suspect breaks in through back windows and doors, and then demands money from the occupants.
One woman was treated at a local hospital after the burglar bruised her arm while snatching her purse.
Investigators said they fear the burglar may get more violent as the spree continues.
