RALEIGH, N.C. — Event coordinators at Alltel Pavilion are being warned to abide by water restricitons.
Monday, the concert venue was slapped with more than $1,100 in fines for violating water restrictions and using a fire hydrant to fill pools. The pools were set up Friday for a concert.
Late Tuesday afternoon, Alltel phone company officials contacted WRAL. A spokesperson said the company is urging Pavilion officials to take the situation seriously.
