FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) is now helping investigate the weekend fire at the old USO building in Fayetteville.

Flames gutted the building Saturday. It was eventually going to be demolished.

The city wanted to buy the land and use it for opening ceremonies of the

next year, but officials believe the fire should not delay those plans.
