Samuel Ferebee, 62, appeared in a Craven County courtroom Friday on peeping charges. He was arrested in New Bern Wednesday after allegedly peeping at an 11-year-old in a dressing room of a Salvation Army thrift store.
Ferebee was sentenced to house arrest pending the end of his trial on the peeping charges. The judge ordered Ferebee be held in the Craven County jail since his home was not considered decent.
On Thursday, Ferebee went before a judge in Orange County for trespassing charges at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill last July.
Ferebee is already banned from the UNC and Duke University campuses, as well as all Orange County-owned property.
