M.E. Report: Woman Found In Raleigh Creek Died Of Drug Overdose

RALEIGH, N.C. — A Cary woman whose partially decomposed body was found in Walnut Creek last month died of a cocaine overdose.

The medical examiner says the autopsy showed Elizabeth Voigt had drugs in her system.

The 31-year-old former WakeMed nurse had been missing since November.

Police say they are still questioning people about the case.
