<b>FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.</b> — A Fayetteville woman who police say tried to kill her baby is scheduled to make a court appearance Monday morning.

Police say 24-year-old Dosha Joseph attempted to throw her three-month-old daughter from the Person Street bridge around 11 a.m. Sunday.   Officer J. Bullard says he was able to grab the child and pull her to safety, but only after struggling with Joseph.

Joseph is being held in the Cumberland County jail on a $40,000 secured bond.
