What would your top three priorities be if elected governor of North Carolina?

My top three priorities as governor would be to empower the burdened tax-paying middle class by resisting the implementation of Obamacare, by eliminating property taxes and by giving a tax deduction to parents for their child's educational expenses.

Given the current state of the economy, as governor, what would you do to add jobs and boost the economy here?

I would propose using all the resources of the governor of North Carolina to encourage hiring by small businesses whether through tax credits or less regulation.

Do you support the proposed constitutional amendment defining marriage in North Carolina as between one man and one woman?

Yes, I support the amendment to the constitution and encourage North Carolina to join all her surrounding sister states. I believe this amendment could change the course of our state, and we should stand for our Christian heritage.

Do you support raising the sales tax in North Carolina to restore cuts in education funding?

No, I do not support raising the sales tax, but I do support tax relief for parents by giving tax deductions up to $5,000 to parents for their child's educational expenses, whether in public, private or home schools, similar to the law enacted by Louisiana last year.
