RALEIGH, N.C. — A Fuquay-Varina woman has been named the 2011 Military Spouse of the Year.
Bianca Strzalkowski, 31, is married to Marine Corps Sgt. Ronald Strzalkowski and is based at a recruiting station in Raleigh.
She was selected from hundreds of nominees around the world.
Some of her accomplishments include organizing a meals program for new moms and training to help spouses understand the recruiting lifestyle.
