<b>CARY, N.C.</b> — More than 400 women hit the pavement in Cary on Saturday morning for Le Tour de Femme.

The women-only ride raises awareness and money for cancer research. The cycling routes ranged from 15 to 62 miles.

WRAL meteorologist Elizabeth Gardner was the honorary ride leader.

All proceeds from the event went to the Rex Hospital Angel Fund and the Lance Armstrong Foundation.
