Early voting opens for municipal, school board elections

Early voting started Thursday for the Oct. 6 elections in Wake and Durham counties.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Early voting started Thursday for the Oct. 6 elections in Wake and Durham counties.

Voters will decide on four members of the Wake County Board of Education, Raleigh mayor and City Council, Cary Town Council and primaries in Ward 1 and Ward 2 for the Durham City Council.

Early voting can be done before Oct. 3 at the Wake County Board of Elections office on South Salisbury Street in Raleigh and at the Durham County Board of Elections office on West Corporation Street in Durham.
