RALEIGH, N.C. — All 16 graduating seniors at St. Thomas More Academy, an independent, private Catholic school in Raleigh, received scholarships to attend college.

"It is exciting to see that every student has received scholarship offers that exceed the tuition that they paid while attending STMA," Headmaster Larry Henson said. "I am happy to know that the classical education they received has and will continue to bear fruit."

The students received an average of $46,000 in scholarships, ranging from $20,000 for students in lowest 25 percent of the class to full tuition for students in the top quarter of the class. The scholarships were based on academic performance and extracurricular activities.

The class of 16 is the largest to graduate from St. Thomas More Academy since it was founded in 2002.
