RALEIGH, N.C. — Members of the Garner Civitan Mitey-Mite Blue Trojans ran onto the field with their counterparts from N.C. State during the Wolfpack's home game against Florida State Oct. 16.
The boys, ages seven to nine, wore official replica Wolfpack jerseys made possible by a grant from the NCAA's Youth Initiative, in conjunction with Pop Warner, Russell Athletic and Wilson Sporting Goods.
The team participated in the coin flip, standing at the center of the stadium with N.C. State captains, then watched the game from the stands.
