RALEIGH, N.C. — Parts of Hillsborough Street in Raleigh will be closed Friday evening for N.C. State's annual homecoming parade. The parade begins at 6 p.m. from Dan Allen Drive and ends at the belltower.

A pep rally will follow inside Reynolds Coliseum.

Up to 20,000 alumni are expected to participate in events throughout the weekend under the theme "Operation TOB." The initials are a tribute to head football coach Tom O'Brien and to this weekend's opponent. According to the school, TOB stands for "Take Out Boston College."

The Wolfpack takes on Boston College Saturday at noon. (The game will be broadcast on WRAL-TV.)
