The third annual Magnificent Mile races were around the state Capitol.
The races were inspired by Sarah Roberts-Witt and Scott and Amy Corsmeier, who suffer from motor neuron diseases (MNDs).
Sarah was an avid marathoner before the illness began in 2004.
Proceeds from the races help fund research grants.
