Posted — UpdatedA quick post to note the beginning of a new sports program for kids with autism or sensory processing challenges ...
Oak City Soccer, based in Cary, is designed for kids ages 2 to 10 by local parents who have a child with autism and an occupational therapist.
I'm excited to learn more about this program, which just recently officially opened. The group also is looking for volunteers and donations to support their work. Volunteers must be ages 14 and up unless accompanied by a parent. Oak City Soccer's website has a lot more information.
