A look at what's new in theaters this week.

Rock the Casbah (Comedy, R, Starring Bill Murray, Kate Hudson, Zooey Deschanel, Danny McBride, Scott Caan) - Richie Lanz, dumped and stranded in war-torn Kabul by his last remaining client, discovers Salima Khan, a Pashtun teenager with a beautiful voice and the courageous dream of becoming the first woman to compete on national television in Afghanistan's version of "American Idol." Richie partners with a savvy hooker, a pair of hard-partying war profiteers and a hair-trigger mercenary and, braving dangerous cultural prejudices, manages his new protégée into becoming the "Afghan Star."
Jem and the Holograms (Action, PG, Starring Aubrey Peeples, Stefanie Scott, Aurora Perrineau, Hayley Kiyoko, Ryan Guzman) - As a small-town girl catapults from underground video sensation to global superstar, she and her three sisters begin a one-in-a-million journey of discovering that some talents are too special to keep hidden. Four aspiring musicians take the world by storm when they see that the key to creating your own destiny lies in finding your own voice.
The Last Witch Hunter (Action, PG-13, Starring Vin Diesel, Elijah Wood, Rose Leslie, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, Julie Engelbrecht) - Armies of witch hunters have battled the unnatural enemy across the globe for centuries, including KAULDER, a valiant warrior who managed to slay the all-powerful QUEEN WITCH, decimating her followers in the process. In the moments right before her death, the QUEEN curses KAULDER with her own immortality, forever separating him from his beloved wife and daughter in the afterlife. Today KAULDER is the only one of his kind remaining, and has spent centuries hunting down rogue witches, all the while yearning for his long-lost loved ones. However, unbeknownst to KAULDER, the QUEEN WITCH is resurrected and seeks revenge on her killer causing an epic battle that will determine the survival of the human race.
Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension (Horror, R, Starring hris J. Murray, Brit Shaw, Ivy George, Dan Gill, Chloe Csengery) - Still reeling from the death of their young daughter, Ryan and Emily move their remaining daughter and their Uncle Mike from New York City to Palo Alto, California, where Ryan has a new job designing video games. As the family settles into their new home, they soon realize that something isn't quite right, and that someone or something intends to use their grief for sinister purposes.
Burnt (Comedy, R, Starring Bradley Cooper, Sienna Miller, Omar Sy, Daniel Brühl, Matthew Rhys) - Chef Adam Jones had it all - and lost it. A two-star Michelin rockstar with the bad habits to match, the former enfant terrible of the Paris restaurant scene did everything different every time out, and only ever cared about the thrill of creating explosions of taste. To land his own kitchen and that third elusive Michelin star though, he'll need the best of the best on his side, including the beautiful Helene. This remarkably funny and emotional story is about the love of food, the love between two people, and the power of second chances.
