Lowes Foods is trying out a new store concept in some areas in North Carolina. They are opening a new chain of stores called JustSave Foods in a few select towns, including Graham (near Burlington). The Lowes Foods in Graham is also closing. Because we do have some readers in these areas and because JustSave Foods may eventually come our way one day, I wanted to get the word out. JustSave Foods is currently in Pilot Mountain and the Graham store will be opening on May 18th. The Lowes Foods in Graham will probably close on May 17, according to the corporate office.

The new concept involves offering many homegrown products and items at a lower price point. They will also have a Dollar Spot with items priced at a buck. The ad for this week shows a big meat sale with bulk meat deals and many Better Valu brand sale items. They will NOT double coupons and you will need to get a new JustSave rewards card. Your Lowes Foods card will not work at the new store.
