Most of the consignment sales in the Triangle seem to be in Wake County. Now there's a new one for all you moms in Durham.

KidCycle will hold its first sale at Northgate Mall in mid-April. Two moms are organizing the sale, according to its website.

They're doing a couple of things that make this sale stand out.

First they'll be collecting diapers to donate to needy families in Durham. The so-called Durham Diaper Drop was inspired by the LA Diaper Drop, which was started by moms who learned that needy children often have diaper rashes because their parents can't afford to change them more often.
And they'll have a Dollar Day. On April 21, any items not picked up by consignors will be sold for $1. The proceeds will benefit a Durham group that helps needy families.
KidCycle is the 25th children's consignment sale on the Go Ask Mom list. Click here for the full slate.
