RALEIGH, N.C. — North Carolina State University Police said security video helped them make an arrest in a burglary that happened early Thursday at North Hall.

According to investigators, a student woke up at about 3:15 a.m. to find an unidentified man going through a dresser in his dorm room. The man, who was wearing an orange shirt and khaki pants, fled the area after being confronted by the resident.

Police said when investigators viewed the video, they recognized the suspect because he was a person of interest in a previous case at North Hall.

Remi Agajainan Reed Jr. was charged with first-degree burglary and held at the Wake County Detention Center. Bond information was not immediately available.
