RALEIGH, N.C. — There was no big winner in the $317 million Powerball drawing Wednesday night, but someone in North Carolina managed to snag a cool $1 million in the game.

North Carolina Education Lottery officials said Thursday that a Powerball ticket sold at the Handy Mart in Mount Olive matched all five white balls in the drawing.

The winner, who beat odds of 1 in 5.1 million, has 180 days to claim the $1 million prize. The lucky ticketholder is the fourth million-dollar Powerball winner in North Carolina since December, officials said.

Meanwhile, the jackpot for Saturday’s Powerball drawing has climbed to $360 million.

The jackpot would be worth $250.5 million if claimed as a lump sum.
