KNIGHTDALE, N.C. — "Red Light, Green Light, 1, 2, 3!"

The NC Squid Game was held in Knightdale Saturday hosted by InWave and NCKoreaFest.

The event saw crowds competing in family-friendly versions of games from the hit Netflix show "Squid Game" like Red Light, Green Light, Tug of War and a Korean game called Dalgona Candy.

"We're doing our version of The Squid Game," said InWave executive director Heoak Lee.

Luckily for attendees, the rules weren't quite as strict as those seen in the show.

Winners of the games received tickets to NCKoreaFest later in the year.

Korean food and craft vendors were also present at the event.

The South Korean produced "Squid Game" was a national phenomenon when it was released on Netflix last September.

The show currently holds the record for the most watched Netflix show of all time.
