NC Central professor charged with DWI

The North Carolina State Highway Patrol charged a psychology professor at North Carolina Central University with drunken driving on Sunday morning.

RALEIGH, N.C. — The North Carolina State Highway Patrol charged a psychology professor at North Carolina Central University with drunken driving on Sunday morning.

Jonathan Nathan Livingston. 42, of 3060 Colony Road, Apt. B in Durham, was charged with driving while impaired after a trooper pulled his speeding 2002 Volvo over on Interstate 40. Court documents show he had a blood-alcohol content of 0.11.

Livingston has taught at N.C. Central since 2005, according to the school's website.
