Natural sciences museum hosts teen volunteer fair

The event includes a presentation about the youth volunteer opportunities and opportunities to ask questions about the application and meet current teen volunteers.

The N.C. Museum of Natural Sciences in downtown Raleigh will host a Teen Volunteer Fair on Thursday.

Volunteer opportunities at the museum are available for teens in grades eight to twelve. The event includes a presentation about the youth volunteer offerings and opportunities to ask questions about the application and meet current teen volunteers. Parents are welcome to attend.

The event is 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 12, in the Environmental Conference Center on the fourth floor of the Nature Research Center, 121 W. Jones St. It's free. No pre-registration is required.
