The My Gym in north Raleigh will hold a fundraiser for the Eastern North Carolina Chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation this month.

My Gym offers physical fitness and development classes, birthday parties and camps for kids ages 6 months to 13 years. New management recently took over the north Raleigh My Gym location and made some major improvements to it, I'm told. The new owners have experience running My Gyms in Charlotte and, currently, in Jupiter, Fla.

The location has partnered with the Make-A-Wish chapter for a re-opening and fundraising event starting July 15. During the event, My Gym will be donating 50 percent of all class enrollments to the chapter, along with 100 percent of donations from a silent auction.

The event is July 15, July 16 and July 17. My Gym at 9650 Strickland Rd. in Raleigh.

For details, contact the gym at mygymraleigh@yahoo.com or call 919-848-1940.
