Multiple media outlets, including The Washington Post, Variety and USA Today, reported late Sunday that famed actor Mickey Rooney died. He was 93.
Details about his death weren't immediately available, but it was reported that Rooney had been in ill health for quite some time.
According to his website, mickeyrooney.com, Rooney was born Sept. 23, 1920 in Brooklyn, N.Y., and first took the stage in his parents' Vaudeville act at 17 months old.
His legacy spanned 80 years, included more than 200 films and two honorary Oscars.
