Fayetteville nightclub raids net 18 employee, patron arrests
Two nightclub raids by Alcohol Law Enforcement special agents and Fayetteville police netted 18 arrests Saturday night, including 12 employees, for drug, alcohol and weapons violations.

Authorities raided Sparky’s Sports Bar and Pub, 740 Bragg Boulevard, and Sharky’s Cabaret, 944-C Bragg Boulevard. Authorities mainly focused on Sparky’s, where patrons have complained of drug trafficking and prostitution, authorities said.
During the seven month undercover operation, ALE agents purchased cocaine and narcotics from 16 employees and one alleged drug supplier at the establishments, officials said. Both businesses have since had their ABC permits suspended, meaning they cannot serve alcohol.
“The arrests and the suspension of alcohol sales at both of these locations should send a clear message that criminal activity at ABC permitted establishments will not be tolerated,” ALE Special Agent Derwin Brayboy said in a statement. “These locations have long been a problem for the community and for law enforcement.”
The following were charged:
- Samantha L. Bass, 25, of Dunn (employee) – Drug dealing and possession with intent to sell or deliver, allow violations of the controlled substance act.
- Brittany Kruse, 19, of Fayetteville (employee) –Three counts each of selling/delivering cocaine and possession with intent to sell or deliver; allow violations of the controlled substance act; and one count each of trafficking opiates by possession, delivering and selling.
- Holly A. Webster, 19, of Parkton (employee) – Four counts each of selling/delivering opiates and possession with intent to sell or deliver; allow violations of the controlled substance act; and one count each of trafficking opiates by possession, delivering and selling.
- Marlena McKnight, 36, of Fayetteville (employee) – Selling/delivering cocaine; allow violations of the controlled substance act; and one count each of trafficking opiates by possession, delivering and selling.
- Natasha Stanford, 40, of Fayetteville (employee) – Selling/delivering of drugs and possession with intent to sell or deliver and allowing violations of the controlled substance act.
- Richard A. Stanley, 35, of Fayetteville (patron) – Carrying a concealed handgun.
- James Thompson, 44, of Lumberton (patron) – Cocaine possession.
- Alexander S. Olivier, 23, of St. Pauls (patron) – Unauthorized possession of spirituous liquor.
- Missy Y. Wheeler, 21, of Fayetteville (patron) – Possession of drug paraphernalia.
- Lashaundra D. Lawson, 31, of Fayetteville (employee) – Marijuana possession, possession of drug paraphernalia.
- Naiobi Q. Ivory, 21, of Fayetteville (employee) – Unauthorized possession of spirituous liquor.
- Amanda D. Watts, 28, of Fayetteville (employee) – Drug possession.
- Lakisha Pauline Allen, 31, of Fayetteville (employee) – Selling/delivering drugs; possession with intent to sell or deliver; allowing violations of the controlled substance act; and one count each of trafficking opiates by possession, delivering and selling.
- Alison Baculik, 24, of Fayetteville (employee) – Allowing violations of the controlled substance act, selling/delivering opiates and possession with intent to sell or deliver.
- Geneva Lee, 30, of Fayetteville (employee) – Allowing violations of the controlled substance act, selling/delivering opiates and possession with intent to sell or deliver.
- Chrisanna Lamb, 33, of Fayetteville (employee) – Two counts each of allowing violations of the controlled substance act, selling/delivering opiates and possession with intent to sell or deliver.
While arresting an employee near Raeford, Demetrius Burkes and Corey Lynes-McGregor, both 20, were each arrested and charged with carrying a concealed handgun and marijuana possession.
ALE agents are still searching for eight employees wanted on drug trafficking charges.
